British Sherman III + Firefly IMPLEMENTED

Since this one of the Firefly is marked as answered
https://www.androidutils.com/forum/post ... b897b7557f, i believe that we should give another look on that, so i decided to make another post for it...
Firefly is an upgraded version of the british version of Sherman III. So it should be an upgrade of the british version of the Sherman m4. Not an american one... So i believe that this should be re-checked.
The british sherman III had a "british made" fast reload cannon instead of the one that came with the original m4, providing more shoots at cost of a lowered caliber, but that proven bad against armor of the new german tanks, so the british engineers decided to pick one of their best AT guns and put on one existing tank, and the tank that they had most was the Sherman III, but it wasn't able to absorb the recoil of the gun, so they decided to remade the whole structure of the turret by building a bigger turret to support the recoil that the gun gave, so there you have the Sherman Firefly.
So the Sherman III could have 2 actions, but less than half of the standard damage of the american m4.
While the Firefly gets higher attack than standard m4, maybe 2 range and only 1 action.

Only automatic weapons can achieve 2 actions in a single turn, or maybe multiple turreted machines.

I don't understand why it would have less power then the original Sherman. Especially since it has an AT gun. We also should consider what faction it should be on; British, American or both? Also do you think we should add a disable ability just for fun?

Oh right. Any idea about what we can do here?

Well many factors of the battles are not included, like penetration of a gun and deflection of an armor, so maybe might be hard to scalate these diferences from the guns correctly. Sherman III was a improved gun over the original 75mm gun of the first M4 version of these lend-lease tanks, but i was thinking on the ones that had seen the first battles at ww2 in the british hands, transfered from the own US army to them with little or no adaptations to british requirements of battle.
Since i just remembered the "lend-lease" pact, would be cool to have a tech to allow technology transference with the allied nations having their own custom version of the transfered tanks. And perhaps a "common-wealth" tech of each nation to allow their expansion/convertion kits.
Btw, what's that disable hability? I don't get it...

Attached are DoomsDay's images with convenient tags, and the corresponding json files.
Sherman III is a m4 sherman duplicate.
Sherman Firefly has +2 atk, hp.
I'll leave some string here:
<string name="UNIT_GB_SHERMAN_III">Sherman III</string>
<string name="UNIT_TXT_GB_SHERMAN_III">Designation of Sherman M4A2 shipped from the U.S. to U.K.</string>
<string name="UNIT_GB_SHERMAN_FIREFLY">Sherman Firefly</string>
<string name="UNIT_TXT_GB_SHERMAN_FIREFLY">The product of modifying a Sherman tank with a bigger turret to sustain the recoil of the 76mm 17-pounder anti-tank gun. This machine was the most common of 17-pounder cannon armed tanks</string>

here i try to suggest some more characteristicity
i am bad in this but the "angles" should be good here i attach the xcf file where
a) the angles are on separate layer
b) you can easily make it less "dark" by the "opacity" slidebar.
c) also you can use it on any tank (french british and so on) if u like it by simply copying the layer onto their images (are u using gimp?)
also feel free to enhance it.
(i could not atttache the multilayer XCF but i can email you - please email me if u need it.)

Ah i see, you're looking for the ones with flat angled slopes...
The ones i made to look the basic ones with the smooth curved slopes, i'm using pixly on the phone to make them so idk if it can work with that sort of layer...
Well, M4 did came in all sizes and shapes xD, in the field, they had to replace and merge turrets and chassis of what they have to put one more tank running all the time, so chassis style doesn't reflect the version of the model... You're suggesting the versions with flat angles, the ones i made looks slopped but ain't flat slopes, the mass production m4 version had these curved angles, some late/post war it does have these flat angles you're sugesting. But they where made in minor number.
Here some examples.
Here you can see many variants for firefly as example on the very end (including M4 tulip). Within all period of the war... So they can be found with both smooth angles and flat ones and many turret styles.

yes i ment to change only the sharp ones.
but i thought only the first series was this fullcasted (smooth) and all other were welded (sharp edged)
so most of the shermans in game should be the sharp (if i am right)

I like strategos image, but yes it should be sloped a little more in my opinion.
