Following other img updates, made some for M4 Sherman, the basic of lend-lease mass production. One for the Sherman "Jumbo", the most armored Sherman variant on WW2. Less armored than Jumbo, but combining reinforced armor, a better gun and a better transmission.

Here it is the DD version replacements. @Stratego (dev) can you replace the current sherman img with the M4A2 one? And the old DD's with this new ones.

here i have suggestion: shermans had a very characteristic body, that is a sloped front plane and a slope to the back forming a triangle, i try to draw with red the line that needs a a little more emphasizing

Thanks, well i made it having that in mind, it might be hard to see but it owns 3px from the highest part in the frontside and 2-1 to the back, it had the slope but it is gradual smoth curve, that was seen on them... Flat/edged slopes came with the Jumbo version... Btw, i'm bit unsatisfied with how i made Jumbo chassis, so i guess i will remake it just to see how it might looks using your guidelines.

Took more time than expected to finish the DD ones but here they are.

we have only one sherman currently so for now i have in game:
- updated image of sherman (that was ment to be an M4 no sub- designation currently) - which exact type hould that be?
- updated DD images

i am making the upgrades for all tanks, question here: are these shermans can be upgraded like
M4A2 > M4A3E2 > M4A3E8 ?

No, they are different branches of the same three. Like "DD", "Zippo", "kangaroo", and maybe "Caliope"...
Jumbo is heavy, well armored and slower variant, E8 has less armor than jumbo but bit improved than mass made versions, larger turret, better suspension and mobility. E2 being a cheaper heavy tank and E8 the upgunned version. So i think you should be able to choose both options to use.

tank1: M4A2 > M4A3E8 (as u say it is only an upgraded thing on same cost maybe - am i right?)
tank2: M4A3E2
tank3: DD

i will need exact stats for XLS can u helo me with XLS data? you know what are those? here:
- production time from-to
- shooting range
- rounds/min
- weight
- min / max armor
- gun diameter
- gun amount (almost always: 1)
- speed (km/h)
- op. Range (km)


from these i can put to xls that will calculate all stats.
i would need it for all upgraded versions (i found none of the upgradey you nicely drew - that i know all data of the upgraded version to put in xls)
so please help getting these for the upgrade versions too - thanks! (same tru for alternatives too like JUMBO)

Right, they are m4, the hull should be look alike (as you choose to add them with angled sloopes), but the turret is different for me, but i can change or add something else if you suggest something.

Well, that means that the mainly improvements it received aren't simulated in xls, and that it got minor improvements on the points it does target that might not be enough to change the actual values the unit have unless we do these changes manually.

looking great so far.

E8: what about making the stat a little like this:
- littel more HP (by assuming little bigger weight because of larger turret)
- a little more attack bonus (because of better suspensions so more stable aiming)

what do u thinkk?
