Since we revamp SF I though to bing in variety.

Salamanders are consider bound to (elemental) fire and may offer creatures immunity to fire and corresponding debufffs.
May be amphibian and immune to poison

4 range "Archer"
Who has firewalk (lava tile)
May a 2 range passive immunity boost

Nice idea. You are going in the right direction with scalefolks.

I would suggest, though, to make them undressed (like are snakemen and turtlemen, for instance).

Scalefolks shouldn't "dress" if not mostly accessories. Maybe some spellcasters will be ok with robes but as far as I understand this is meant to be an archer.

Also I suggest not to give immunity aura to fire but I think it might gain powerrange with techs since it is like some sort of breath weapon

I don't understand if that is meant to be a mage or a archer

I think more like archer but it spits fire by itself and doesn't need "bows" or any other weapons for that. Like dragons don't need for their fire breath any bows.

Btw I'm not sure it is saliva to make their flames but the idea itself might be nice on the right units (e.g. Not units that attack using natural weapons)

I want this as an archer
Salamander is enough common creature and doesn't use arcan ways for attacking
(I'll remove cloak)
Aonly ability I'd give him is range 1 fire protection aura- great for cooperative
MPlayer
This and the firewalk ability will become a pretty unique Base unit

For mages use draconians - incernation and ash cloud debufffs

I think it is better not to give it fire protection aura. Having immunities and give immunities aren't the same thing.

I imagine fire protection aura as a magical fire barrier that can absorb all incoming fire based attack, and well salamander is apparently not a mage
