Spore storm IMPLEMENTED

@samuelch's idea, starts as a swarm of spores that can move quickly and in all terrain (maybe also pass through enemies) but can be easily killed, after 3 turns turns into an infantry unit, let's say that basic shroomies for now.

Cost: 3 (kinda hard to figure out the cost for this one as it's rather situational)
Hp: 5
Armor: 0/0/0
Attack and range: 0
Speed and sight: 5 (hover movement)
After 3 turns: grow - transfrom to shroomies

Now that I look at this, this could be, besides infiltration unit, and "scout vehicle". Lack of speed and combat capabilities after 3 turns turns to the most powerful "scout vehicle" of all - an basic infantry unit, outclassing reptilan speeders or human cars by far.

Since this will be a starting unit, it is one of top priorities

So it's going to be similar to a reconnaissance vehicle only in flesh and blood?

There are more differences than the category but it fills the same role yes.

Honestly we will have to test this thing quite a bit cause it may be too strong on small maps and kinda ass on very large ones, at least thats my expectaions. Its definetely the most avant garde early tc capture unit, and the early tc capture is crucial.

Really an early game rush tactic is essential to cover territory and if that's how they're going to work it could be that they'll have an advantage on smaller maps just like you said

Does that mean it has 2 stages? What should the swarm look like? Is it like a cloud, or like a locust, or like a cicada? How many units are in the image?

It has 2 forms but you already an image of the 2nd one - it's just the basic infantry unit. This thing is basically mashroom spores growing while they travel through air.

I was just picturung spores floating in the air as the image, but it would be good if they had some way of floating, (maybe they have a small "bag" full of a hot gas, like a hot air ballon) and moving horizontally in different directions (mini wings?), independent of wind. I still want each spore to be small and for there to be a lot of them (like a dozen?) so it feels like a cloud of them.

... you know you drew a bunch of sperm cells with wings right?

Maybe theyd be better off without the "tail"

Hi,
Had some sparetime and no tasks in my dms so i played around with this a little.
Prolly cant use it but ill post it anyway.

Are spores or the resulting unit from it blue or why is it blue?
I personally would imagine it being the color below.

Either way im not sure if i improved anything and not sure how my current computer screen and color settings could make my judgement on this bad so pls give me feedback in regards of overall contrast, visibility and color saturation.

Thanks for adding team colour, no idea about "overall contrast, visibility and color saturation".
