Daily Gift ANSWERED

I think 2 days ago, i collected 33 gems from the daily gift screen. I clicked it after completing a multiplayer turn and it turned grey like it was supposed to, however i never got the gems. I had 9 before, and after collecting 33 i still had 9 
i dont know if you can do anything about this but its a bit of a bummer since the next update is adding skins and i need some gems for them
