The knight sword looks more like light cav since they look unarmored

Yes, actually I got the reference from 17th century English Civil war which the soldier only has Cuirass? Or plate mail (I'm no good with armors). I heard from YT that their dress inside their armor are actually cutting proof but they wear the Armor for the guns and not the Melee weapons itself.
I mean, most of the units I draw are from the civil war besides the longbow and the boats and that one knight. Finding the images is really hard.

I like the worker.
Could u add a firearms hanging on his shoulder, and another sprite shooting it?
The footman looks a little weird. But its fine for now, we can improve it later

Are you making basic workers have combat capabilities? Kinda wierd.

There will be an speciallist worker too, the architecht
These one wont able to fight and will make some sapecial structures like starfortress, university, dockyard, etc...in addition to the regulars
Also, it will be more expensive and weaker since it doesnt have fighting capabilities
The citizen wont be able to build while he is shooting, and well be the worst unit at it

Well the special worker idea sounds cool, but why bother giving the basic worker an option to shoot? It will probably be much better using his action to mend/build stuff and if you suggesting he should have a transform for shooting then it would definitely be completely useless.

Britain might be largely considered one nation now, (incorrect) but in the time we are talking about, it was very much separate races. England was really the home of professional soldiery, Wales is the traditional home of the longbow, Scotland, whether they were called Picts or Scots have the famed Claymore and Highland Charge, Why not also add in Irish warriors for good measure? Druidic influences from the Celtic nations too, I feel there could be a lot more depth if we play to the distinctions between the British Isle's separate nations.

the british swordman looks a bit too early like 12th century, im not sure if there were english swordmen around the 1500s, maybe knights with shield and sword but not regular infantry

Sounds good.
Then, what factions should be?
England, scotland, ireland?
Its a good idea, they should have some common atributes since they are britain factions
Make another topic for them plis, since this is only for english units now.
Also, england could have a late structure to recruit bitrksh units from the 3 islands: like highlanders, scotish guard, etc...

That's what I thought too, that's why made the knight with the claymore.first, but since we need some weaker swordsman and the lack of reference from the net i decided to just use a design that would make it look like it's from England.

We really need to decide which timeline should be starting part for the units.
And please could someone give me some clear reference to units itself. LOL
It hard finding one with my limited Internet.
About the units in the British Isles, I think we could just combine them even if they're still not one nation. After all this would be hard later on since after some ages, they would be United and that will be hard to make them all have the same upg, it will be like a poorly made game.

Alright.
Like I expected. They're from the 17th century.
I want to ask if their soldier from 16th to 17th are just the same? I'm really not familiar with this besides the English Civil War and the 30 years war which is from the 17th century already.

There is a difference, 16th century or 1500s is the time fo Henry the VIII for the most part archers pikemen arquebisiers and knights.
17th century are pikemen and musketeers for the most part fashion and armor changed as well, only a few light cavalry and even fewer heavy cavalry was used.

Then, timeline starts at 1500s with some units from past century.
Also, idk if there was an official uniform. As i remember, soldiers sometimes paid for their own uniform, and it used to be different to the others. Maybe standard clothes. U should look rrgiments uniforms.
Also, we will need a flag/standard bearer.

Depends on the war really, but almost everyone looked the same in the 17th century only colors and flags were different
