Timeline and game speed

hello community
I would like to write something here as a basis for discussion.

since we are playing a game here, which covers a period of about 6 years. I think it's a shame that we are very quickly at the end of the line with the research and all the units in between are not really effective. (in industrial level II tanks and planes built from this timeline have a maximum of three units)

I would therefore suggest that we significantly increase the research time of the industry.
from industry I to II to 10 rounds and research II to III again between 10-20 rounds.
This should increase the production of these units to 5 units of this timeline and do more justice to these units.

I hope to read many opinions here.
