I thought burn damage are supposed to deal 6 true damage per turn?
I was shocked when Ornithopter was still alive with 1 HP after it was shot by Castle in previous turn leaving it with 5 HP.

I run my test DPS map and the burn damage to burnable is still 6 except for Ornithopter. Is this a bug or a feature?

A feature.
E.g. traps burn for only 4 damage too.
To be more precise - basic damage was never changed - it's 4, but damage has bonuses: +50% vs ships, buildings and siege; +3000% vs mega buildings.
Traps and groundworks are not buildings.
Also not all mechanical/non-"flesh and blood" are siege machines. Ornithopters and wagons are getting only 4 damage.
