Just an idea, why not setup an auto account deleter that gets rid of accounts that aren't and never will be used again? But only the ones with 0 posts, and a year of age. If such thing is possible, we could be extra safe, and not have to scroll through thousands of ghosts just to find eachothers' forum tags.
TLDR: Delete unused accounts that have never posted anything and existed for over a year.

i would do but it would take me that much time i never dared to start
but why do you even do search/scroll any users? (actually i never ever did)

Oftentimes I have to do this to find a name to tag for PMs, and friend people so I dont have to search again.
