Gives unarmored Ranged infantry in 18th - 19th Protective vests that gives Damage reduction to Gunners.

Flak jackets were originally armor to counter Explosives,Shrapnel & other lower velocities
But I think we dont need to follow that,so +20% Bullet Resistance

Ranged units with :
0 - P.Armor

curassiers and tich nobles had bullet proof cuirasses, maybe certain cavalry units shoudl benefit from this, or everyone maybe

We have 3 types of Armor

Melee Armor,Peirce armor,Gunpowder armor

Gunpowder armor is the Rarest

No, we dont...there wont be 3 armor types...
Since gunpowder attack will be spells, we could use spell ressitance as a third armor, but nothing else
These techs could be usefull to unlock dragoons and cuirassers upgrades...also rising their spell ressistance...

Maybe bullet resistance? Because spell resistance is a weird name.

Thas the name in aos, i suposse we can change that. Also, spell ressistance works with percentages...u can check it at some unit stats in aos

yes...but no
actually, bullet spells with count as pierce armor
artillery spells, excepting graape shot, will count as spell resistance, u can change its name, it doesnt really matter

Hmm In ours time ballistic vests (with class defense 6 (max) (in Russian defense system) can only stop Svd bullets... And as i know (class 4 (in Usa) can stop 50 cal bullets... But if you tell me about vest, that stopped artillery missile (and tester don't get killed by impact (because as i know 12. Slugs dont punch the armor but strike through vest) ok you got it... But if you mean buckshots and fragments they will gives some protection...

Well I mean buckshots and fragments from artillery but units are operated in squads so I thought artillery will still do damage but as frags.

ok, i have been reading about this...is not that far from reality...
first at all, backthen existed bulletproof vests...(17th century)
on the other hand, only officers (just few are registered) weared them, and it was not that usefull...it was some kind of improved courass
so, this wouldnt affect all infantry...since they didnt wear cuirasses...but would affect generals...mounted generals, not infantry offeicers
maybe we could make 1 unit with this equipment but it owuld be slower and worse in melee fights...in other words, since regular infantry range is 3, they would be chased easily...and defeated...
we could balance it...it was just an idea...
