I don't see age of fantasy in google play (in Russia), it was deleted?

it was removed by google for violating some rules - the reason is not clear for me - i asked them they have yet answered...

I think its because of the LOTR add-ons

i dont think so.
as those were in for years more than 8 years imho.

Can you share what you received from them? Or you received those generic auto-replies?

yes an autmatic email without anything about the specific problem.

but i received 4 hours ago an email from "Emily" that she will check it in detail - but giving no any information in that email

Mine too...it disappeared.

I mean you could Sue if they just decided to remove the app off the store and never provide a reason ( if they never do ).
May hit the jackpot.

Well, i'm not so sure it was a copyright issue now from what that msg meant, but i have another thing in mind... it's just a guess, but it isn't bcz of this?



I mean, the apps, outside the labels of playstore, all versions share the AOS name title, probably bcz they share part of the documentation between them... Some automatic system of the playstore found this issue there in the app when scanning the documentation and flagged out AOF as copy of AOS given its similarity... Which could result in the copy (AOF) being removed from the store as it carries AOS name on it.

So if this is really the case... Same could be applied in the case of AOW soon or later.

i refreshed the games list and i see it is now published.

i have yet received any explanation why it was removed and why it is re-activated now...

As far as i remember, yes.

And for me it still doesn't show up in the playstore.

this bug is ridikulous!

please everyone experiencing this write here his "locale" so i can check the problem - thanks!
eg: "italy" so all apps appear in italian if they have translation for that.

i hope with "english" locale this problem does not exists.

It exists on Russian:
"Эпоха Стратегии" is used as local name for AoS, AoF and AoWW. In Gplay alas they all use english names.

Please tell me which asset was thought i have no permission, as i have permission to everything.
Please send me those assets, or asset names, texts or textID-s that was thought to be un-owned by me so i can reply with the verifiable document (if that was not eg. a free to use asset)

So if i submit now everything i have on this form, than it will not be removed automatically ever? (Question1)

also i have proofs of
- non free things - here i can upload proofs (Clear, no question)
- also there are free things i use - i can only show the link where i got the (eg.) free images is that enough? (Question2)
- also i DO not have proofs on things OUR DEVELOPER TEAM MADE THEMSELVES (eg. unit arts) what proof i should post about these? how will you know it is mine? (Question3)


Sorry for being this needy about informations but this is what happened on this event:
- i had the app published for years without problems (i only added my own contents)
- suddenly it was removed by GooglePlay about a week ago
- i published (an already planned) update that only ADDED new assets to the game, so i HAVE NOT REMOVED anything from game.
- after this it gets accepted again....
->> so seems there was nothing ever in game violating anything...

that is why i asked for the asset/text that caused the problem, or violates any rules ...

Now i should ALWAYS be AFRAID that it will be removed again without reason (at least reason i will ever know...), should i? (Question4)

I'd say these might be the answer to the problem:
Squig rider: a unit from warhammer, so their might be some copyright issues.

Caragor rider: unit from shadow of war and shadow of mordor, it was made recently so it might have copyright issues. (If I remember correctly you have to wait 15 years for a copyright license to expire for something before you can use it, unless it's renewed in that time.)

Hamletback: it's from magic the gathering so it might have copyright issues.

Goblin cannon fodder: same as hamletback.

Zurgo helmsmasher: same as hamletback.

The phantoms tech books were edits of an existing image, but I did read the description before to make sure they were free to use, but I may have missed something.

I edited the dwarves techs except for the cannon upgrades which I made myself. But they were from the same sight that you already suggested was safe to use images from.

The loading images might be a problem too though, you might check there licence.

The units ones may not have been found out about till recently which is why it took so long or some disgruntled player might have said something to someone.

That's just my theory though.

Simple changes to units names though would fix the units problems and avoid the copyright restrictions. E.g. Uruk raider instead of caragor rider.

AOF is showing up in my Google play store though when I search for it.

Probably uruks should be renamed as black orcs or smt
