Age of Strategy Forums

The Frankish attack you are sorrounded by 3 enemy Ai with large forces how do I beat those? It seems almost impossible..I tried 2 times

Push to the TCs, then defend at them with the vikings, until you manage to lower enemy numbers enough (ranged units with high range or damage by cost can be safely hidden behind vikings, northernmost owner tc can produce worker for building factories).
I tried and got north eastern and south western tcs on 3rd or 4th turn - unfortunately beating the map within turn limit is probably impossible.
I need to finish it to see what number is actually possible, but any info would be appreciated.

This map is possible to get 3 stars when macemen attack is 18 in old version... (current attack:12)
I think it's time to adjust the stars requirement...

It was 17 power. Bonuses were set to make maceman to practically one-shot almost all foot units. With 17 power he dealt 12 damage to cavalry, which was important too.
He was totally OP.
And the AI was making much worse decisions then.

Anyway - what amount of turns should be hard to achieve, but barely possible in your opinion @tamtam12345 ?

Well, at least that's what the message on win said.
Although both turn counter and my memory tells me it was 16 turns.
I made some mistakes (allowed AI to take one of my vikings by poison), so it's probably doable in 15 - 14 turns.

I tried few times with the old strategy that I used before. But I failed.
I need to spend longer time on playing it.

Finally win in turn 14.
I use laborers + frisian horse + mercenaries to win.
I think 16 turns is enough for 3 stars.
