i just found the wikipedia link on french, i dont speak frecnh but read some realted links so it is basically a ship made for bombarding, there is also a ship category for siege ships: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bomb_ketch
so this couldbe included, as well for british since they coppied the idea (it says the link)
