The Celtic long sword was primarily a slashing weapon, as the rounded tip was ill-suited for thrusting and stabbing, making it similer to the Khanda. The Celts were famous for their iron working abilities, and some historians even think that the Celts iron should in fact be classfied as steel. According to the show, Celts used the long sword from back of chariots as well. This was successfully tested as the long sword through the nose and to the brain from the back of a chariot. The Celts prefered way of killing with the long sword was decapitation. After a battle the Celts would hang the heads of their decapitated enemies on their houses, their chariots and their horses. They would also stick the heads on a pole sticking out of the ground outside their house. The Celts kept the heads of their fallen enemes as a trophy and to possess a persons head is to posses a magic power.

Welcome back stormsaint.
I appreciate that you noticed this topic
Maybe it would look something like this or so.

But they'll look more barbaric than this.

If its a celtic long sword, then we're getting into claymore territory, not a single handed sword as shown. Therefore there would be no shield (I'll not even try to get into balancing of stats - I'll leave that to people who are more sober than I )
In between the two was the hand and a half sword, which not many people could wield one handed. So basically it's either no shield or a smaller sword (adjust stats accordingly). I love how youre filling out the "factions" Quaddy, - they were a bit empty till you came along

Actually thats actually a Longsword I think its design Is like that because it was unique to the celts or something. Maybe I'll remove the shield and armor and to be more barbaric I'll add warpaint.

I would think it better to leave it more for a longswords runner. with 7 dmg and 4 speed
