Yes I too think this'll be useful as a Maceman/Knight hybrid but no one can hear us.
If I remake stats this will be my ver of stats and I will not add bonuses to buildings since it is reserved for axe knight like units but I think it is viable to this unit.

Trained at : Town center, stables
Unit description : A knight armed with a warhammer.
Cost: 5
Hp: 30
Att: 12
Spd: 5
Armor: 2/2
Sight: 5
Bonuses :
100% Heavy cavalry slow
100% Heavy foot melee
120% Heavy cavalry except slow
200% Armored siege machines
Affected by blacksmith cavalry upgrades .

Warhammers were commonly used by knights and were very effective against heavy armour.

Would a poleaxe be more appropriate?

I don't think poleaxes were used by cavalries but I could be wrong.

Not for a mounted unit I don't think, it's a two handed weapon.

Yes, there is definitely a niche for an anti heavy-unit cavalry. And a second tier upgrade I think.

Regarding boni, remember that heavy cav are split between normal and slow, I think this guy should be the primary counter to shield knights. Current stats would have him one shotting knights and mounted templars after 1 attack upgrade, and bog standard shield knights with 2 upgrades - possibly a bit too strong.

I'm thinking maybe 100% Vs HeavyCav, 125% Vs HeavyCav Slow.

150% would also one shot a Guardian, and with blacksmithery, it would also do for Knight Templars and Elite Foot Knights. Either boni or base attack needs bringing down even for a 5 turn cost. (I actually can't believe I'm saying this, but) I think he might be a bit OP

Hoplite, Praetorian, heavy shield knight and other heavy units will be quickly decimated if this stats are applied. Will need new stats I think. However the second stats isn't stronger than it is before.
