Welsh Bowman (Saethwr) IMPLEMENTED

The traditional view that the longbow was invented in Wales before being perfected by the English seems to be incorrect (possibly began by a bit of artistic license exercised by Shakespeare), although Welsh bowmen did frequently make up large portions of English archers, in particular during the 100 years war, but using English built longbows.
Before this, however, archery was prevalent in Wales, but using a shorter bow normally made of elm rather than the standard yew of longbows. No physical evidence survives, but contempory accounts, notably Gerald of Wales, record that although they had a shorter range, these bows packed a hell of a punch. They were often used in Ambush tactics where range was not so much of an issue.
Saethwr (archer in Welsh)
Cost 3
Hp 15
Attack 7
Range 5
Armour 0/0
Standard archer bonus +50% Vs Light and Medium Foot Melee and Flying
But also +40% Vs Heavy Foot Melee and Heavy Cavalry
(Stats edited to fit with Endru's recommendations)
Affected by warpaint and blacksmith upgrades
"In the war against the Welsh, one of the men of arms was struck by an arrow shot at him by a Welshman. It went right through his thigh, high up, where it was protected inside and outside the leg by his iron chausses, and then through the skirt of his leather tunic; next it penetrated that part of the saddle which is called the alva or seat; and finally it lodged in his horse, driving so deep that it killed the animal" (Gerald of Wales)
This unit would also be affected by Ambush ability should it be accepted.
