The needlegun scorpion is an light anti-armour unit that fires spines from its tail, which sharp enough to tear armour, but the effective range would not be very far.

We do have one scorpion already. Maybe put this on a different machine?

We can use that name for some manned AT gun rather than vehicle to avoid confusion with 2 scorpion mechs.

Oh yea sure. Pretty sure small balistas were called scorpions, so it fits an AT gun... Even tho that's not the falvour we are going with in insectoids.

When I say probably, I mean that it's the preferred variant. I wouldn't like this to be classified as a vehicle, cause then it would be affected by EMP. Also I feel like the vehicle in your image is too large and stickman like.
