Bioengineering

Bioengineering will allow Insectoids to breed stronger soldiers with desired properties and strength, which will unlock some mid-to-late stage units like colossal hybrid behemoths or deadly beasts that will go beyond the imagination of the enemies.

I mean...
I would prefer the insectoids to use their techs for global stats boosts. With will go well with they spammy gameplay style. Techs that unlock units are kind of a reptilian thing.
Also we don't necessarily wanna go with giga flesh monsters will insectoids (as there will be a ton of that with myconids).

How about a boost to the command effect ranges of the queen and the minders? This would have the kind of effect you are looking for.

I think the increase in size of the auras makes sense, but calling that tech "bioengineering" seems unfitting, to say the least, and also the original topic was about something completely different.
Can you make a new topic for a range increase of auras tech? Improved telepathy could be the name.
