Ideas for some... Templar units of Insectoids.
The Templars are basically religious wing of Insectoid military, which they bear part of spiritual leadership of the great swarm, and also an elite combat group.

• Templar Apostle
  The Apostles are elite heavy infantries with advanced armour and assault weapons that are equally effective against infantries and up to medium armour class vehicles. In addition to better equipments, they can also buff the attack power of an adjacent unit using its propaganda abilities (which is a bit similar to the priests in AoS).
• Templar Inquisitor
  The Inquisitors, similar to Apostles, however with some major differences. Instead of assault weapons they use ranged weapons, and their ability focused on debuffing enemy attack and defense power.
• Templar Martyrs
  Advanced suicide attack Templar infantry?

Eeeeeee...


Where did you get an idea of religious insectoids lol? I would keep such stuff in the avian faction (please read the topic in races about racial propertiesmand all other must read topics (see: Introduction subforum)).

Obviously it doesn't make sense to call them "templars" either, as it's a term related to human history.
