Mahout affected by cavalry armor? ANSWERED

Mahout is affected by cavalry armor even if it is an elephant. Mahout already has 2/2 armor and has great elephant like stats. Isn't it overpowered because its already cheaper than war elephant and has medium mental resistance ( 50% ).

It's affected by the same blacksmith armors as regular war elephant, which has 1/2 armor.
It has no hp increasing upgrade, lower trample ability damage and no power range (splash).
I was thinking about changing mahout a little, but only in attack/bonuses part and making him affected by sword blacksmith techs.

Oh war elephant is affected? I didn't notice because I use mahout often (War elephant trains too long and just gets converted). It seems mahout is gonna be unique in the elephants.

When mahout was introduced - the whole point was being elephant more resistant to conversion.
And yes - currently it's unique among elephant units.
