Chinese soldier armed with a wolf brush. High melee armor thus can absorb lots of hit. His attack will cause "entangled" debuff that freeze enemy unit, but still able to attack. The melee attack won't be that high, but a good defensive unit. Perhaps bonus to cavalry.

Lanxian, but why entangled? According to Wikipedia the blades were dipped in horrible poison. So I guess this unit can be a tank with poison damage.

The langxian was a branched, multi-tipped spear with blades attached to the branches. The blades could be dipped in poison. The langxian was a weapon well suited for defense, as it would be difficult for an opponent to assault the wielder without risking contact with the blades.

I read somewhere that the branches might act like a barbed wire if someone get stuck in it. Probably sticking with poison sound good too
