hey
as we know we have some woman units in both aos and aof
when we hit them with sword or etc they say ahh (with woman voice)
But when we tap on them to use and move ... there is a male voice that says things like : yes sir..here i stand .. and etc
But with a male voice
I suggest we put woman voice in both aos and aof for woman units

i agree. We got the new sound effects but still no Female ones.

I agree, hopefully we can find good sound effects.

Im also hoping own race sounds, like in AoF and AoE3. Japanese units will speak Japanese, Celtic units will speak Welsh, Nordic units will speak ancient Norse and so on and so forth with the faction sounds. Will be a lot of work for the moderator or the dev but it is worth it.

Can you tell which units?
Because I added female voices (on selection) to soundpacks, but maybe I forgot to change it for some units.
I definitely changed it for heroes - huntress and priestess.

It maybe too much to do voices for all cultures, but some general groups - maybe.
Some forumers would have to participate and record their voices, but where do we find e.g. any celtic language speaker, when they are all not used any more?

Yeah, it is too much, it'll be very hard and time consuming so, Nevermind.
Probably if we have increased our forumers globally, I guess we can do an attempt.

need a hand endru? Not me but my colleague has been researching on least used languages including Celtic languages like Welsh, Irish etc. And maybe Coder4Christ can also help since he know Welsh i think.

Well keeping the unit languages distinct will keep the flavor of races but i think not all players would accept it. Well may be we can open up a poll to know forumers affinity towards this.

I checked royal huntress and she doesn't have a female voice.
I think u only removed the male voices since it doesn't appear anymore.

They have or some of them have female voices. I tested all female units.
They have a 1 in a 7 chance of speaking when you press them. Confirmed ones - Jeanne D'arc, Queen and Priestess. The only things I've heard tho are -Hello and how may I help you?

And that's it.
I only found those 2 in public domain (most others were kinda erotic or spoken in electronic voice).
They have similar chance to be spoken as regular male on other units (around 1/6).

Can it be 1/4? I some times have to press them multiple times for them to speak.. but thanks for adding new sound effects for AoS. I really like the sound eff for the slingers, archers and ships.
