Is the clerics upgrade still available? If yes, where can I find it in the upgrades section?

Monk as well is not trainable as well.

Monks as you know won't return at all.

Later, after we will finish with updating, bug fixing and such, we will rework other units of dwarves (mithrils, defenders, monk) and this unit (along with mithrils and defender) will be completely changed.

The monk will be probably back as part of the slayers (or at least one kind of monk).

I'm not sure I'll put a base monk again but we might make a monk from a different school for defenders as well (like hokuto and nanto schools )

will the current units remain in the editor, or will they be used as skins?

Monk specifically is fine as skin i think.
Mithrils are not that good as skins for me (and also question for what units?).
Defender can be as skin for me.
