Golden Warrior
A title awarded to the most brave , experienced and successful arms men who fought bravely and gave victorious position to the kingdom in a few wars. A rank higher than the military captain.
The Golden Warrior as stated in legends, is considered immortal among the army. And can only be defeated by a common citizen facing death at anytime.
There was only one Golden Warrior among each dynasties. It is believed that after the death of a Golden Warrior, there can be another one born only after a 100 years.

MY IDEA
A Warrior superior in all fights among melee ie, has great bonus against infantry, mounted, ranged, sieges. High enough armour that cant be penetrated by any other unit.
Slow movement, and can be 2shot killed by any unit under peasant category.

Seems op? Not really. He can barely move with heaviest armour in the battle realm. And can be 2 shoted by any peasant.

Most probably. The stats may seems op. But cost 10 and 2 shot by a peasant. And speed 0 with +1 speed cd 1.

What is this? This Golden warrior can still go in wagons or receive speed effects to march faster, plus it is a very good town or Viking ship defender. If this is a Fun unit or a Map editor unit, then it is ok for me. 20/20 armor is no good tho, only gunpowder can do serious damage against it.

Would have to be cheaper then though.

As regular one - the weakness of peasant is quite fantasy-like.
Would have to be balanced without it somehow.

Bonuses doesn't really make sense too, e.g. there is no way to make negative bonus.
Rng melee is quite unclear - you mean aoe? Or 2 range attack like pikes?

Btw. Gunpowder units would be able to damage it either - only flailman as it gets ignore armor spec.

Would? Did you mean wouldn't? Because u said only flailman can damage it. But, if so. Then how can hangoneer damage a heavily armoured hoplite?

Maybe hp30 cause if it went 20, it got stat matchingcoolguy rather slow.

Well coolguy can be vulnerable to scouts and labours
And yeah the part was pretty fantasy in description. But i thought of peasants as a match for the "common citizen ". Either way peasants are quite under used in game.

Hyu, this interests me - can you give some more information please, what exactly do you mean? Is it some sort of fate / prophecy thing? And what is facing death at any time, is that a condemned prisoner, or someone who constantly faces risk to life.

From the reference i read, mongol, mughal, kalakeya, marik, greek reigns, Egyptian etc , the golden warriors existed in different names. And for the surprise, they were all killed by common people as predicted. The were throne away from title due to their dishonest behavior and was died revenge from people of the regions ( under slavery)they had captured for their nation. In the ref there were 17 GW but i can't recollect their name. Among them was TITAN of Atlanta and the largest moon of saturn ( the second largest in solar system) is named after him due to the might he represented.( TITAN was also a ref to the name if brother of greek god kronos, and it also got aref of undefeatable army The Titans)
