So technically its like a Slingshot version of a crossbow. The chinese used these but later on used bolts cause it is more powerful than stones. It is used in europe I believe as a bird hunting crossbow. They would use clay balls which are lighter hence faster velocities so youll more likely hit a bird. There are 18th century versions of these (wont be ingame ig) it fires round bullets.

I suggest it should be a anti light long ranged infantry that more acts like a slingshot(can miss) but is more accurate than a slingshot. But weak damage like VERY WEAK. A clay ball can kill u. But i think its less fatal than other more accurate and powerful weapons.
