The panther is armed with a 75mm Cannon and has a range of 1 the Pak 40 which is basicly the same gun as the panther cannon has a deservedly range of 2.

so pak 40 will have range 2 and panther just range one

The Pak 40 had a effective combat range of 1.8 kilometers bothering less them the tiger tank. So the range of the tanks like panthers should be raised. (Or would this be too OP since tanks like Stug 3, Jagdpanzer IV and Panzer IV would gain a range of 2?)

I think that the upgraded ones should have Two range

if you think of the panther than no

Maybe the most advanced version of the panther could have a range of 2 then it would be more expensive but also more resons to upgrade ?

If it had an effective firing range over 2.5km, maybe.

The KwK 42 of the panther j had an indirect range of -30000 feed and a combat range of 2 kilometers.
