Hi forumers,
Mendind ship's mend rate isn't that high imho, for mending a galley shot by fortress it needs 2x mend. And in vast water map, they have become a valuable assets - when shils far away from the shores.
How about a new upgrade mending ship? Only slightly increasing hp, but increase its mend rate.
Stay safe guys

Or atleast increasing mend bonus of larger ships might be good.
Because with increased mendrate players will be compelled to build towers or reinforced ones near shore so the mending ship is enough to keep it alive from even heavy foots.

Very good point, they become largely ineffective towards the late game except for putting out fires. One problem is they get progressively less effective as our ships get bigger (ie more hp). Could this be countered by a mending bonus on ship upgrades? Atm I think everything is set to 0.
Edit - ie, exactly what Hyu said, sorry I didn't read it properly.

I've noticed the (pretty much) static construction bonus on cannon ship line leads to a double cannon ship taking 18 turns to build while the other two are 16 turns. Is this deliberate @Endru1241 , a throwback to when double cannon ships were OP - or an oversight?
Other ship lines, galley - frigate, trireme - heavy quad seem to have the construction bonus scaled to their hp increase.

It's an oversight on my side.
I forgot to correct mend bonus, when increasing hp.
Should have 0.19 (-81%).
I'll correct it in the assets.
